Hello from Jamestown

My dad called today from Juneau, Alaska and wanted to know if this town was named after him. I don't think so but maybe...after all, there are 2 towns in Wisconsin named after my family (Nutterville and Gleason, thank you very much), so why not? It IS the birthplace of Lucille Ball, I may have to hop over to the museum so I can get the Lucy-Desi salt and pepper shake set to go with my fat/skinny Elvis set and my pre/post facelift Burt Reynolds set. Oh wait, I never got to Graceland or to the Burt Reynolds and Friends museum in Jupiter, FL for those either. A girl can have dreams...

I had a pretty good meeting today, they really liked our system. I had to get up at 3:00 this morning for a 5:20 flight though so I am a little tired plus I lost an hour. My damn garage door would not open this morning. I know that Andy's Garage Door Service makes emergency trips but I don't think he would have appreciated a call at 4 AM. I finally figured out how to open it manually and was on my merry way to the airport.

I may go to Niagara Falls tomorrow, if not I might see if there are any local Amish boys who want to go experience rumspringa with me...maybe Mose from Amish in the City would like to hit the Seneca Nation Casino with me or go bowling or something. Damn, I just looked at his bio and he's from Wisconsin--better track him down when I get home.

The workout facility here had 2 bottles of Aquafina on their little shelf with the towels so I scored $3 in free water plus there is free juice 24 hours a day--I might never leave the Jamestown Best Western. Plus I saw a waffle maker in the breakfast bar area (complimentary might I add...) so I might just send for my things. I was going to go across the street to have a beer but I took a nap, rode the exercise bike and did my fantasy football draft online so I kind of ran out of steam.

For the first time in almost a year, I ordered a pizza. I am not anti-pizza, I just never order it, so please no nasty emails from all you pro-pizza'ers. It was damn good plus I tried those cinnastix that are all the rage. Next time, I could skip the pizza and just get those, they are really damn good.

My bro bought me back a big bag of stuff from Hawaii-a tank, a bunch of macadamia nut items, a calendar and some freaky looking good lucky charmy thing I think it is a Hawaiian Warrior Helmet that matches my new red decor so I plopped it up in my dining room and it looks fantastic.

My stamp party last night was kind of a dud. I had 2 total no shows, one excused absence, one that forgot they had something else to do and one that decided not to come. It was kind of a disapointment as i have spent a fortune at some of these other parties but I liked the ideas that our new Stampgoddess, Deb (aka AbracaDebra) had so that was good, I think the other gals liked her stuff too.

Ok off to bed, since I have been moving and grooving for 17 or so hours today and I am a little sleepy. My hour nappie did help but still...
